San Diego-Shiloh Corbet, the dispatcher of a sheriff, drove home from work when she discovered a boy who had just been reported that he had failed near the State Route 52 on Santee Highway.

She called the sighting to her colleagues, stopped her car and followed.

When she came to the shoulder of the highway, the child had crossed the alleys west and stood in the center converter. She called the boy with the name and followed him until the MPs arrived.

Corbet and these two MPs, Cody Green and Michael Moser, were honored with autism last week by the Sheriff office for their role in the shocking rescue of the 11-year-old boy.

The incident on March 9th began around 4:30 p.m. when the boy's family reported that the non -verbal child had leaked a supermarket in the Gorge Road mission near the Cuyamaca Street, the officials of the sheriff said.

The helicopter of a sheriff was sent and the MPs were sent to locate it.

Corbet drove home around 5:15 p.m. when she discovered him. When Green and Moser approached the boy, he sat down in the middle section.

But when they went up a small dam, the boy got up and hopped over a wall on the right shoulder of the highway, according to the video that the sheriff's helicopter recorded over head.

“He runs and actually jumps on the motorway traces,” you can hear the helicopter pilots in the video.

Another member of the radio asked that the highway was closed.

The boy then ran down his left shoulder when cars and trucks drove past, and the drivers did not notice what appeared, the video was shown.

Within seconds, the two MPs – just a few meters from the passing cars – collected the boy, wrapped their arms around him and led him back to safety.

The MPs were able to bring the boy back over the guardrail and reunite him with his family. No injuries were reported.

The three rescuers were honored with exemplary performance awards for their efforts.
