Schieffelin received the all-ACC award and scored an average of 12.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in Clemson's Team Record 27-win team. After the 2024/2025 season, however, he exhausted his justification as a basketball player. Fortunately for him, the NCAA rules enable him to use another year of justification in another sport of division I.

After talking to football coaches Dabo Swinney Schieffelin will join the Tigers as the closest end. And while his football player experience is minimal, Schiefelin offers an interesting amount for the offensive of the tiger at 6-foot 8 and 240 pounds.

The expectations should be alleviated in terms of its likely contribution in 2025, but it is a unique opportunity for an athlete who wants to wear the colors of his school for another year.
