Disposition: Former Big Ten, Sun Belt DB arrested due to robbery

What was a promising football career only a few years ago Tayvon Nelson.

The story published by WSAZ New Channel 3 in West Virginia says that the incident on Sunday in Huntington, the home of Marshall University, took place and left two people with serious injuries.

Nelson was charged with the first degree due to robbery and also suffered a firing injury during the incident. According to the criminal complaint, Nelson and his accomplice showed “in an apartment and focused on the victims before they took drugs.”

According to the complaint, “one of the suspects shot back to the victim and one of the victims and struck Nelson several times. Both victims were injured in the exchange of shots. One of the victims suffered” a life -changing shot that was on the back that hopped him with his back to lend him when he paralyzed him, which was added from the waist into his feet from the waist.

Nelson was a three-star recruit from Staten Island, New York, who signed Maryland in December 2022 for offers from numerous other programs, including Miami, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Ole Miss and Missouri. After two seasons with the terps, however, he joined the transfer portal in December and finally found a new home with Marshall in January.
