Chicago shooting: 5 shots, 2 in separate incidents killed overnight, says the police, the police say

Five people were shot two fatal overnight accidents across Chicago.

According to the Chicago Police Department, the victims aged 15 to 35.

Austin Shooting

What we know:

A 24-year-old man went on the sidewalk at the Bürgersteig in the 5000er block of the West Quincy Street in Austin when an unknown male perpetrator approached and got her into a verbal argument.

The dispute became physically when the perpetrator shot the victim, the police said.

The victim was shot into the chest and brought to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he died.

The perpetrator fled in an unknown direction.

Nobody is in custody and the detectives for area investigations are examined.

Englewood shoot

What we know:

The officials responded to the 300 block of the West Marquette Road in Englewood around 1:17 a.m. to receive a report about a person who had been shot.

A 15-year-old boy told the officials that he was on the sidewalk when an unknown perpetrator approached him and got into a verbal argument. The perpetrator produced a gun and shot shots, the police said.

The victim was hit twice on the left thigh and brought to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition.

Nobody is in custody and the detectives for area investigations are examined.

Austin Shooting

What we know:

The officials responded to a report about a person who was shot in the 1200 block of the North Massasoit Avenue in Austin shortly before 1 a.m.

A witness told the officials that they had heard shots and saw a person near an alley. The officials found the victim, a 35-year-old man who no longer reacted and two gunshot wounds on the chest, the police said.

The victim was treated and brought to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he died.

A weapon was found at the scene.

Nobody is in custody and detectives in the region examine the shootings.

Burnside shoot

What we know:

The officials were called into a report about a person who was shot in Burnside in the 1100 Block of East 91st Street around 1:42 a.m.

The 21-year-old male victim told the official that he was on the sidewalk when he heard shots and felt pain, the police said.

He was shot into the left leg and was brought to the Medical Center of the University of Chicago in a fair state.

The victim could not give any further details about the incident.

Nobody was in custody and examined the detectives for territorial examinations.

North Lawndale Shooting

What we know:

A 22-year-old woman was shot in the 1400 block of South Kenneth Avenue in North Lawndale, the police said.

She sat in a car when an unknown perpetrator approached her and fired shots. The perpetrator then fled in an unknown direction.

The victim was shot in the head several times and brought himself to the MT. Sinai Hospital, which was initially reported in a critical condition.

No criminals are in custody and examine the detectives for area investigations.
