Games Workshop: No pre -orders, but the world eaters and the death guard arrive

It's a big weekend for Chaos fans. The death guards and the world eaves land in their FLGS and Warhammer shops!

This weekend we have no new pre -orders from the Games workshop. Personally, I agree to this break in the campaign. If you want to see what should actually appear in the shops, we have treated the last week. While you may not be able to snap a battleforce, you can still find a new codex or a combat patrol for your respective army. And you asked your FLGs to pre -order them, right?!

However, even without new pre -orders, I still wanted to refer you to some helpful information about these two armies. I divided them into their two respective armies to keep things clear. Simply let us go alphabetically so that the death guard first expired.

Top 5 things about Codex: Death Guard

This is an overview of Thomas, also known as Goatboy, about the things he liked in Codex: Death Guard. There is a lot to like and it is a nice overview of the army. He also goes into detail about details that you really want to immerse yourself in the death guards.

Detachment of the death guards

This covers the general army rule and shows a few teasers from the Codex Codex directly from the game workshop. If you are still investigating whether this army is for you, read these rules first.

Death solutions for death guards (and world eaterly)

The death guard is allied with Nurgle for obvious reasons. In the new codex you can basically bring half of your points as chaos dates. This article deals with both these options as well as their advantages for the death guard and the world eaters.

Death Guard & World Eater's character Preview

In this way, both the death guards and the world eaters each receive a new character. This article deals with the basics of the individual. It is good reading to check whether you fit the version of your respective army that you want to build. Personally, I think that the Lord of the Pockets is a better “generic” hero for the death guard than the battle restriction for the world eaters. But don't let it twist specific World Eater Army builds.

Top 5 things about Codex: World Eaters 2.0

This is again from Goatboy. And again it is a list of things he liked on the army, as well as a good overall primer. He has these specific examples into which he also digs. It is a good reading that you get a feeling for the army.

World Eater's department preliminary views

This goes directly into the preliminary views of GW in connection with the non -trivial solutions of the world eaterly. It touches the army rule (which did not change too much from the index). It is worth reading when you wait for your codex or fence to found a world -eating army.

More world -eating and Bruchs – Tournament Player Edition

Games Works took a rare step with this. You actually got a tournament veteran to write down your thoughts about the new world eaters, and even provided two example -Army lists. If you are a serious world eater player (or want to be one), you would like to check this safely.

Lord Invocatus' Rodeo! – Goatboy's World Eaters List

Speaking of tournament player lists, Goatboy also has a foretaste of the world eaters and wrote his thoughts about the army. He has a slightly different tendency than things, but it is a quick look at how his brain works for building lists. Readers are warned. (Hehe, love you Thomas!)

3 Big Misses from Codex: World Esters

The world -eating code is not just sunshine and rainbow, people. Or maybe skulls and gorestorms … you know what I mean. There are a few things that Goatboy really wanted to see that are also missing in the new book.

Pricing a “Games Workshop” World Eaters Army

And finally this is an article that makes your wallet cry. As a thought experiment, I broke the cost of buying a New World Eaters Army from scratch, based on the GW prices. I tried to look for shops from you where I could. The results are not pretty because things quickly become expensive. But I learned a few things on the way.

Hopefully we will be back with more pre -orders from GW next week. Until then … happy chaos times!
