30,000 bank passwords from a country that has reached Dark Web in global malware extension: Report

Cybersecurity researchers say that tens of thousands of bank audit information were discovered in the dark network that belong to customers in a single country.

The security company DVuln says that the information discovered by customers was stolen by customers with bank accounts in Australia that have been transmitted for four years of malware attacks.

According to DVuln, it has found login registration information for 14,000 customers of Commonwealth Bank, 7,000 Anz customers, 5,000 NAB customers and 4,000 Westpac customers.

“The actual number of endangered customer devices is probably much higher, since many infections remain undetected or are traded outside of our visibility in private channels.”

The data was removed from telephones and other devices infected with malware and not due to hacks of the bank's security systems.

According to Dvuln, a concentrated and cooperative exertion is required to combat this type of fraud and quotes a recent report by Kela by Kela, which has now been lifted by devices worldwide.

“… this is only a fraction of a much larger global problem.

When viewing the industry results that 3.9 billion passwords were stolen by info -oriented malware and that these login information is systematically traded in underground markets, the extent of the threat becomes clear. “
