In a video declaration, an Israeli prisoner wounded in Gaza says that only a negotiated deal is brought home and demands the public protest against the inactivity of the government.

The al-Qassam brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas, published a new video with an Israeli prisoner who says that he was bombed twice since Israel has been violating the arms arrival almost two months ago.

The prisoner, who identified as number 24, appeared with visible injuries on his face and left arm.

In the recording, the prisoner reported how he just survived the first bomb attack after taking the fights, and asked Qassam Fighters to put him into a tunnel for protection. He said he had been bombed back underground and had hardly escaped his life again.

“This is the kind of military pressure that Netanyahu and his claim will bring home,” said the prisoner and described his current state as bad. He explained that he lacks access to medication and that evacuation to a hospital was not an option.

A week earlier, the al-Qassam brigades had released another video that shows the attempted to save Israeli prisoners during the ongoing bombing, although it did not include the identity of the prisoners.

In the latest video, the prisoner mentioned a fellow prisoner called Bar, who asked Qassam Fighter to find and help him.

He also asked how Israel could celebrate his upcoming independence day – a reference that points out that the video was made before April 30 – while 59 prisoners stay in Gaza.

“How will you lift flags and grill? How will you celebrate?” He asked and asked the Israeli public to take to the streets and demand measures to release the prisoners.

He also criticized Israeli leadership and said: “Nobody takes care of where we are or what happens to us. Not the government, not the prime minister. We are not even on her radar.”

He asked the public: “Please help us. I ask you. Don't be silent. Don't let the government catch yourself in this situation. Our freedom depends on you.”

The prisoner admitted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed the video as a “psychological war”, but he countered: “The true psychological war is what I am lying through.”

He ended his message by saying that the last time his family sees or hears his family.

The video ends with a message from the al-Qassam brigades: “You will only leave a deal. Time expires.”

This happens when the Israeli security cabinet is preparing to approve the expansion of the military operations into Gaza stripes, even though it increasingly increases domestic opposition.

During the celebrations on Independence Day, Netanyahu confirmed his commitment to the continuation of the war until all prisoners – alive and deceased – were returned and until the Hamas is broken down.

The Israeli chief of staff Eyal Zamir also said that the Israeli army was ready to escalate its operations in Gaza Strip.
