The shocking story of how Ozzy Osbourne cheated death in 2003

Ozzy Osbourne is lucky enough to be alive. Between taking abundant amounts of drugs and alcohol, biting bats and general life on the side, the man had many chances of kicking the bucket. However, his superhuman immune system and its psyche enabled him to age, just like the average Joe. However, there was a scary incident in which Ozzy's life was almost taken, and it is not what they could expect.

One would think that Ozzy's life would have ended in his glorious days. But it wasn't Ozzy's drug abuse that almost took life. Rather, it was an almost fatal accident at an ATV in 2003.

How Ozzy Osbourne escaped from a brush with death on an ATV

In 2003 in his estate in Jordans, Buckinghamshire, Ozzy Osbourne almost died when he drove on an ATV. The crash only occurred days before Christmas on December 8th. At that time Osbourne was 55 years old and tried to reduce his substance consumption. Apart from that, it seems that substances were not a factor in this accident.

Ozzy Osbourne crashed with his ATV and then went into an eight -day coma. When Ozzy woke up from the coma, he said Great Britain's Sunday mirror And reminded the traumatic incident in detail.

“If it weren't for Sam [Ruston] I would probably not be here, “said Osbourne.” He had to bring me back to life twice. ”

As a reference, Sam Ruston is Osbourne's long -time bodyguard and friend. Osbourne also said that he had learned a large lesson from the accident.

“I will never go near one of these damn bicycles again,” he said. “I am lucky enough to be here today and not paralyze. The doctors tell me every day that it could have been much worse. I could be dead.”

Regarding Osbourne's brush with death, his wife Sharon Osbourne explained that I had gone with him if “Ozzy had gone.”

As terrible as an accident and an experience for Ozzy, it is surprising that he gave death in this way. Most people certainly believed that it would come from his high-flying party days. When it matters, Ozzy Osbourne was lucky enough to move away from such an incident that was largely intact. But, Hey, moments like this make the man a legend!
