18 great new shows you should see on Netflix, Max, Hulu, Prime Video and more

What happens if the whole world changes overnight and you don't know how it happened or why? This is the central premise of The EternautAn outstanding new science fiction series from Argentina, which is already one of Netflix's most popular shows. Based on a popular graphic novel from the 1950s, the six-episode series begins with a beautiful but fatal snowfall, which is released most of humanity.

The survivors have to record the pieces, and that includes Juan Salvo (Ricardo DarĂn), who wants to find his missing daughter and ex-wife. But first he has to find a way to venture outside without touching the deadly snow. Will Juan find his family? And what is more important, will human survivors find answers why this apocalyptic event occurred at all?

The Eternaut is an exciting science fiction show that finds new ways to explore the scenario at the end of the world. With just six episodes, it is not welcome and offers just enough closure to end with a satisfactory, if a little ambiguous hint.
