Trump Administration has settled with Maine about the financing of freezing in transsporters

The Trump government has agreed to restore the federal financing for educational programs in Maine and to end a freeze that was triggered by the president's objection to transgender athletes.

The agreement is submitted by Maine General Aaron Frey against the US Agriculture Department last month after Agriculture Minister Brooke Rollins frozen a means of nutritional programs. The dispute between Trump and the state was created by the participation of trans -athletes in women's sports.

“It is unfortunate that my office had to fall back on the Federal Supreme Court to get USDA to comply with the law and its own regulations,” said Frey in an explanation. “But we are pleased that the lawsuit has now been solved and that Maine will continue to receive funds that were instructed by the congress to feed children and adults in need of protection.”

The Trump administration had shaped repeated threats to delete Maine of the funding of state officials, to comply with their proposal in participating in women's sports under title IX that is supposed to prevent gender-based discrimination against nationwide-financed educational programs. In February, the President and Maine Governor Janet Mills came together publicly in the White House when Trump told her that she “had better”, the “better offspring” that she had “better” Or risk losing federal funds for your state.

“We'll see you in court,” replied Mills.

No side seemed ready to withdraw. In mid-April, a federal judge who was in the chair of Maine, the Trump government, ordered the Maine's lawsuit to temporarily remove funds for the state's educational programs.

At a press conference on Friday, Mills, a moderate democrat, celebrated the government that was used.

“I told him I would see him in court,” she said. “Well, we saw him and won him in court.”
