Delayed video game delayed with excitement: When will it be published?

After years of anticipation, Rockstar Games announced on Friday that Grand Theft Auto VI, one of the most expected video games of the decade, was later published when many hoped, the company said.

The publication of the game was delayed on May 26, 2026, said Rockstar Games.

“We are very sorry that this is later than expected,” said the company in an explanation. “The interest and excitement in connection with a new Grand Theft Auto were really humble for our entire team.”

Rockstar recognized the growing pressure in connection with the next edition of his franchise franchise company, but emphasized the studio's commitment to achieving a game that meets expectations.
