Six people who were arrested after three shots in Sweden

The Swedish police arrested six people in connection with a suspected triple murder in a hairdressing salon in the city of Uppsala.

According to the public prosecutor aged under the age of 18 to 45. One is suspected of carrying out the murders on Tuesday evening.

A 16-year-old who had been arrested hours after the publication of the incident on Friday.

The three victims shot in the salon were between 15 and 20 years old. The attack came on the eve of the Walpurgis Spring Festival when large crowds descended on the streets of Uppsala.

The police investigate the possibility that the shootout is related to gang crimes.

The father of one of the victims announced on Saturday that his 15-year-old son asked him to transfer money so that he could have a haircut in front of the Walpurgis celebrations. That was the last time he heard from his son.

“He was a really nice boy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could have happened to everyone,” said the father.

One of the people killed was allegedly known to the police, said the local media.

According to reports, the victim was involved in a police investigation for a planned attack against a relative of the gait guide Ismail Abdo. The person was never charged.

Uppsala, a university city north of Stockholm, has long been the basis of Abdo and competing gait guide Rawa Majida.

A new chapter in her lawn wars began in 2023 when Abdo's mother was murdered in her house.

Sweden has seen a wave of gang crime in teen age in recent years. Suspects are charged with a number of crimes from vandalism to murder.

The Swedish government has proposed new laws that would enable the police to remove children under the age of 15 to deal with the problem.
