Three kept to share in the workplace -chat group.

Three employees of a private company in Noida were arrested because they supposedly intimidated a 20-year-old employee after reporting that some employees changed their photos digitally and had brought them into circulation on Thursday with obscene statements in the office whatsapp group. Among the three defendants is the HR department and the responsible security.

The woman claimed that after reporting the problem with the HR department and trying to involve the police, the company returned by conspiring to terminate her employment. According to the police, a fourth suspect is currently on the run.

As quoted by the Hindustan Times, Vinod Kumar Mishra, Sector 142 Station House Officer, said: “Later, when she continued to push for measures, they dismissed their allegations and blocked them from company systems and shot them with her after misconduct.”

When the victim achieved reliable security and the HR department, she was asked to compromise. The victim registered the complaint on April 29. However, the incident took place on April 11th when the woman found that two of her colleagues changed her photos and spread them on WhatsApp.

She mentioned in her complaint: “You wrote unpleasant comments about me and spread them into a WhatsApp group in the office.”

The woman was firmly against intimidation and finally visited sector 142 police station, where a FIR in accordance with the two sections 352 (2) (criminal intimidation) and 352 (deliberate insult) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and additional sections according to the IT law was registered. The police registered a FIR against the accused against the defendant due to criminal intimidation (352 (2)) and intentional insult (352) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the relevant IT Act sections.
