Postecoglou reveals that Lucas Bergvall was destroyed after the leak

Last month, the Tottenham boss spoke a lot about the sensitive nature of the information published by Hotspur to the media.

A few weeks ago, postecoglou narrowed the spores that strike the source of the leaks, but they seem to have been unsuccessful, with the leaks showing no signs of stop.

When the 59-year-old was asked about the information about the violation of Bergvall, he replied his way on social media and replied (about football. London): “It is not helpful. It is only part of it to protect the players themselves. You can imagine Lucas was destroyed.

“He is a young man. He had so high a week that he had signed a new deal, he played well, his whole family was out here. We wanted to protect him more than anything, but this kind of decency and respect no longer exist.

“I said, before it is not helpful. It is not helpful for our club. Not for any other reason, but it is information that you give to the opposition that it is information that you can use against you. But we live in a world in which this type of thing has gone out of the window.

“You live it every day. People just want to be the first, whether it is credible information or not. You get it out there and you feel like you have achieved something, whether it is completely outside the base or completely wrong.”

The trace head coach also expressed concerns about the effects of the second order of the fact that the new media landscape are dominated by those who were not trained in journalism.

Postecoglou pointed out that there is no focus on twice or triple checking information through your own sources before you get them out.

He added to the journalists present: “I loved their job. I did it because I was an enthusiastic reader, an insatiable reader, and I would love that people would double and triple their sources before I am committed to something. Unfortunately, this world no longer exists.

“It is not necessarily journalists, it is only everyone else now. You can literally only say what you like, and pretty much, even if it is completely wrong, nobody will pull them up for them and they can do it the next day.”
