Highlights! Quang 'Bang' Le Sleeps Gaston Bolanos with a bad rear-naked-choke | UFC des Moines

Quang Le has continued the first victory of his UFC career tonight (Sat., May 3, 2025) at UFC des Moines Live ESPN2/ESPN+ In the inner wave arena arena in the Moines, Iowa, the sleeping bantam weight tower Gaston Bolanos with a suffocating submission of the second round (rear naked choke).

Le wasted little time to take Bolanos by implementing a strong wrestling attack and relentless upper pressure. Bolanos spent most of the first round on his back and was able to throw his typical spider sheet and kicked his feet.

The second round was even worse for Bolanos after Le caught in the standup and then landed under the control after a transition to the ground. From there, Le worked after the control and reached for Bolanos' neck. Bolanos continued to fight until he went out cold and Le told the referee that he should stop the fight.

Take a look at the last moments of the fight in the player above.

The 33 -year -old Le became two defeats in succession to start his UFC office, so the Matchup was a big moment in his pro -career on Saturday evening against Bolanos. Bolanos was the betting favorite that came into battle, but offered little or nothing when it came to playing the floor. Le was 8-0 before his UFC debut in August 2024, so this performance may be a sign of more.
