play

For the second night in a row, the Chicago Cubs looked like they were in a different class than the Milwaukee Brewers.

Pete Crow-Armstrong met a three-run Homerun early, while Dansby Swanson and Kyle Tucker went deeply in a 6-2 victory on the American Field Field.

Chicago's productive offense upgraded José Quintana for the first time this season after the left -hander won each of his first four starts with Milwaukee.

The Brewers offensive now put together all three basic hits, including none after the fourth inning, to fall a third game in a row and move five backs of the first cubs.

Kyle Tucker blows out one

José Quintana had allowed three runs through the whole season until May 3.

He gave up six against the Cubs in his five innings. The last blow to Quintana's line was a Kyle Tucker Moonshot of a solo explosion in the fifth, which casually defeated his ninth Homer of the year to bring Chicago's lead to four with 6-2.

Pete Crow-Armstrong does it again

How about a status to comprehensively summarize the direction in which these two teams could be reached at that time at that time?

Pete Crow-Armstrong broke the game with a two-run Homerun in the fourth inning with two or three runs. It was his third Homer of the series.

The brewers had met two Homer in their last nine games – a period of 358 record appearances – who entered the day. That is as a team.

Dansby Swanson scored 5-1, although Rhys Hoskins got a run back on the bottom of the inning with a solo shot.

The goalless series ends

After 21 innings of zeros, Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang have teamed up to create a positive integer.

With two outs in the third smoke, Chourio smoked a double in the right middle and then passed Turang's line-drive single directly above the glove of the second Baseman Nico Hoerner. It was Milwaukee's first run since a Caleb Durbin victim on the eighth Inning Wednesday.

The last two losses for the brewers only marked the second time in the Franchise story that they had suffered successive defeats with at least seven runs.
