DWI, hit-and-run anchlage submitted after the crash of Eden Prairie ambulance

An Eden -Prairie wife is charged after she allegedly hit an ambulance with her vehicle and rejected a chemical test after her arrest last month.

The 36-year-old Sarah Lauren Tangen is charged with the Hennepin district court due to impairment of the district second degree, while he is affected (test refusal), a gross offense, and after a collision, an offense, did not stop according to court files.

According to a criminal complaint, the police of Eden Prairie was sent to a hit-and-run report near the 6200 block of St. John's Drive at around 10:44 p.m. on April 17th. Paramedics said a dark -colored Volkswagen slanted back with her ambulance on the driver's side and west without stopping.

The officials pursued the license plate on Tangens nearby residence. When the police contacted them, they watched signs of poisoning, including the smell of alcohol, aqueous eyes, blurred language and a warm hood on the vehicle. Officers also noticed fresh damage to the passenger side.

Tanging denied driving the vehicle and refusing to carry out field soberness tests, the complaint said. A neighbor later told the officials that tanging had only arrived home a few minutes earlier and drove.

After her arrest, tangling refused to submit a breath test at the police department of Eden Prairie.

Court files show that tangles have two earlier DWI convictions, including a second degree in 2019. It was booked in the Hennepin County prison in the early April 18 and later published against a conditional deposit of $ 12,000 that evening. Her first court presence is planned for May 7th in the Ridedal Courthouse in Minnetonka.
