The man watched the son of the son of the son shortly before the alleged attack on the deputy

Cincinnati – Many people still try to find out what led to the tragic crash in which the deputy of a sheriff of the Hamilton County Sheriff was dead.

On Friday, the police, who was not named, led the traffic at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Burnet Woods in the middle of the UC start. The police say that a driver hit and killed him.

This man was identified as a 38-year-old Rodney Hinton Jr.. He is the father of 18-year-old Ryan Hinton, who was shot by a Cincinnati police officer the day before. Hinton was charged with severe murder, the police said.

WCPO 9 spoke to Michael Wright, the family lawyer of Hinton on Saturday. Wright said the family contacted him to examine the police.

“Unsigned or justified, they lost their son and it was on tape,” said Wright.

Wright said he was in the room with the family when they were shot the video of the police of a son Ryan from CPD.

We asked Wright whether Hinton had a noticeable reaction to watching his son's death.

“Well, everyone had a reaction of unbelief, grief and shock,” said Wright.

Wright said the family never expected what would happen later on that day.

We asked Wright whether Hinton did an act of revenge.

“I could not read his intentions or predict that this would have happened,” said Wright.

The news of the MP's death was announced on Friday in a joint press conference with the chief of police of Cincinnati, Teresa Theetge and the sheriff Charmaine McGuffey, Hamilton County.

“I knew what an enormous, enormous person he is and what kind of enormous loss we all suffered,” said McGuffey.

At the crash site, people started to leave flowers and ligaments as a monument to the MP on a nearby tree.

Hinton appeared for the first time on Saturday morning. When he stood in front of a judge, a wall of dozens of members of the Sheriff department grabbed the courtroom to show their support for their deceased colleague.

“I understand that there is a lot of sadness and a lot of trouble in this room at the moment,” said Hinton's defender in court.

Hinton had visible injuries to his face. His defense lawyer recognized the severity of the situation, but asked for the process of the law to play off.

However, the prosecutor was much more direct on the situation. He said that Hinton's actions were intended.

“The accused stops his car, and in a way that was calculated and deliberate, he set up his car and intentionally accelerated his car and deliberately caused the death of a deputy sheriff at the service,” said the prosecutor.

The crash occurred shortly after the Hinton police camera video had seen the moment the moment showed the police in Cincinnati shot his son.

“As you can imagine, it was pretty traumatic for the family,” said Wright.

The judge ordered that Hinton would be held without bond until his hearing without a bond. He is recorded in the prison of Clermont County for the judge's orders. The judge said it was for Hinton's security.
