Bea Boys are second in St. Peter | News, sports, jobs


Madison Ehrich sets up a putt on the ninth hole of the Minn-Iowa Golf Club.

The Blue Earth Area boy's golf team was second place in the 10th team of St. Peter Invitational in the Shoreland Country Club on Tuesday, April 29.

The team of St. Peter Blue won the team of the tournament with a 45-over-par score of 321. Bea's runner-up was a 52-over-saving score of 328.

Waseca took third place with 333, New Ulm was fourth with 336, Le Sueur-Henderson was fifth with 338, Redwood Valley was 340 sixth, Kasson-Mantorville, the seventh place with 352, St. Peter White was 377 with 377.

The tournament's medal winner was Zachary Wilson from Redwood Valley, who ended at the 18-hole course with a score of five against par of 74.

Bea's top golfer for this day was Jackson Blondin, who took fifth place with a 10-over-saving score of 79, only five shots behind Wilson.

Blondin had a birdie on hole No. 12 and pars on hole No. 2, 3, 5, 13, 16, 17 and 18.

The next best score of the Bucs came from Manny Granillo, who ended a three-way game for seventh place with a 12-over-saving score of 81.

Granillo Birdied Hole No. 1 and 17 and recorded Pars on hole No. 2, 6, 7, 9, 11 and 16.

Cole Becker scored Bea with a third number of points with a value of 13 over 82, which brought him in a four-way tie for the 10th place.

Becker brew the sixth hole and the parrete hole No. 2, 3, 5, 8, 11, 5, 16 and 17.

Eli Blagg provided the end result of the BUCs for the Total team with a 17-over-saving score of 86, which combined him with three other golfers for the 18th place.

Bea's Hunter Viland ended a two-way tie with an 88th place. It was no. 2, 3, 7 and 16.

The Blue Earth Area golf teams were hosting the Windom Area Eagles on Friday, April 25, in the Minn-Iowa Golf Club.

Girl results

Ada Lund from Windom Area claimed the individual medalist with a blow to Beas Katelyn Storbeck, but the Bucs won the team phase of the meeting with 25 beats with a 59-over-saving score of 207 to pass the 84-saving point of the Eagles of 232.

Lund ended with a value of nine over 46, while Storbeck carded a 10-over-saving score of 47. On the day, Storbeck had three pars that were in the second, third and fourth holes.

Madison Ehrrich took third place with a score of 52. She juicy the seventh hole during her round.

McKinley Hanson and Hailey Hanson were rounded off, who ended fourth place with identical scores of 54 with Ali Lund of the Eagles.

McKinley Hanson had a par on hole No. 7.

Avery Blair from Bea was 58 seventh place and Haedyn Cole was eight with a 62.

Bea's Jackson Blondin and Cole Becker gathered for honoring the medal win to lead the Bucs to a victory of 158-177 over the Eagles.

Bea's score was 14 blows, while the Eagles ended 33 lines during the nine hole meeting.

Four of the five best results were recorded by Buccaneer-Golfern with blonde and Becker, each recording one-over-saving scores of 37.

Blondin started his round with an eagle on hole no. 1. He was number 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9.

Becker had Birdies on the third and eighth holes and voted the first, second, fourth and sixth holes.

The top golfer of the Windom Area for the day was Landon Pilatzki, who took third place with a two-over-saving value of 38.

Hunter Viland and Manny Granillo were the other two Bea -Golfer who contributed to the BUCS team.

The duo each recorded six-over-saving scores of 42 to reach fourth place.

Viland Birgt the first hole and recorded the third, sixth and seventh holes.

Granillo had four pars during his round. They performed on hole No. 2, 3, 4 and 9.

The Eli Blagg of the Bucs took a value of seven over 43 in sixth place. Blagg had five pars. They were on the first, third, fourth, fifth and ninth holes.

Cole Beyer landed in ninth place with a score of 49.
