UFC results of the Moines, bonus winners, highlights and reaction

What a night with interesting and great fights in the moin, iowa. I'm not shocked.

The UFC always seems to be delivered at smaller combat night events. Cory Sandhagen dominated DeVerson Figueeedo before the latter suffered a knee injury in a 50-50 position that forced a submission.

Sandhagen had control over the entire fight, so this was not a Fluke victory. He positioned himself as a man with a strong case to face the winner of the retirement between the UFC Bantamweight -Champion Merab Dvishvili and Sean O'malley.

We also saw how Reinier de Ridder the Bo -Nickal -Hype machine with a TKO via dirty knee to the middle section. The Nickal haters will have a field day with it.

Here is a look at the other results of the event, the bonuses and the highlights of the surfaces.

UFC bonus winner tonight

The bonus winners in the evening were:

  • Cory Sandhagen
  • Reinier de Ridder
  • Quang le
  • Azamat Bekoev

UFC tonight: UFC des Moines Main card results

🏆Cory Sandhagen Def. DeVerson Figuereiredo VI to submit at 4:08 a.m. by round 2

🏆reinier de Ridder defeats Bo Nickal via TKO at 1:53 of round 2

RDR is a star. He is great on the microphone and repeatedly proves that it is massively dangerous in the octagon.

He excluded Nickal's wrestling and exceeded him before closing him with a series of evil knees. Here is the last one that led to the destination and the bonus.

Daniel Rodriguez defeats Santiago Ponzinibbio via TKO at 1:12 by round 3

Ponzinibbio could be carried out at a high level. After a solid start, his defensive defects and reduced reflexes left him open for a hellish left hook by Rodriguez. The result was the most malignant KO of the night.

Montel Jackson defeats Daniel Marcos about unanimous decisions (30-27×3)

Serhiy Sidey defeats Cameron Smootherman about unanimous decisions (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Mason Jones defeats Jeremy Stephens about unanimous decisions (30-27×3)

Yana Santos defeats Miesha Tate on unanimous decisions (29-28×3)

🏆azamat Bekoev defeats Ryan Loder via TKO at 2:44 a.m. by round 1

Bekoev is legitimate and deserves one of the bonuses. He is powerful and balanced as a fighter. He proved to be a league before Lodge when he stormed it against the cage with a wild flood of power shots to secure the finish of the first round.

Gillian Robertson defeats Marina Rodriguez via TKO at 2:07 a.m. by round 2

You don't see Robertson, who ended many opponents with strikes, but she made it against Marina Rodriguez. It was a dominant and impressive performance. After the fight, Rodriguez announced her retirement from sport.

🏆quang Le defeats Gaston Bolaños by submitting 1:54 by round 2

Quang Le was impressive on Saturday. He blocked the rear naked choke, which led to a technical submission, with Bolanos going out after refusing. Le needs a harder competition, but he may have saved himself from release when he hired a duel strip.

He also blocked one of the performance bonuses.

The defeats of Thomas Petersen not about a unanimous decision (30-25, 30-26, 30-26)

Juliana Miller defeats Ivana Petrović about unanimous decisions (29-28 x 3)
