2.96 billion USD refineries scandal: Kyari denies misconduct, says he is ready to calculate before God & Man

With speculation, Kyari broke on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he decided to make misconduct and his willingness to be held accountable -both before the Nigerian authorities and before God.

“I not only served my country, but also God. I am pleased to explain my responsibility.” Kyari wrote in a reflective article.

Kyari found that after the recent dissolution of the NNPCL board and the administration of the Tinubu administration, he is currently during a break. He emphasized that after 34 years of service – including 17 years in the lead and almost six years as CEO – he had little time for calm.

“I had little free time, not even two weeks of vacation” He said and thanked for the opportunity to serve former President Muhammadu Buhari and the current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
