Charlotte, NC (WBTV) -A West Charlotte district received a front seat for a police pursuit on Sunday afternoon when State Troopers followed a vehicle from the I -85 and on several residential streets, said North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCHP).

A state troops tried to stop the vehicle on the I-85 because, according to Highway Patrol, he drove 85 miles per hour in a 60 km / h zone.

The cell phone video of a home owner on the Brooktree Drive showed the soldiers on the bumper of a white Nissan Altima, which blew through a stop sign.

Another video showed the car, which on the I-85 through traffic when it tried to get away from the soldier.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said that the driver was later arrested after walking out of the car.

“This state team was dug and there was no way to get away,” said Johnny Evans, who lives on the Brooktree Drive. “The altima had to be a four-cylinder, but it was still 60-65 miles per hour down here and it is 25 to the bottom.”

Evans is glad that no children played through his neighborhood at the time of chase.

Speeds on the street, said Evans, may have made it more difficult for the vehicle to achieve higher speeds.

The chase ended on Sunday evening in the Rozzelles Ferry Road.

There were three passengers in the vehicle, soldiers said.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol has not published the driver's identity, but said that they are exposed to several fees.
