Carmelo Anthony discusses the NBA about the NBC role

If the NBA returns to NBC, Carmelo Anthony will be part of the network crew.

While the Kentucky Derby is the biggest event in the horse calendar in the USA, NBC used its reporting to share some news about its upcoming NBA reporting. In addition to the announcement that John Tesh's classic “Roundball Rock” of the NBA will be on the NBC title song, NBC Anthony officially welcomed the NBA reporting team.

Anthony, who was in Churchill Downs, will be a studio analyst. He discussed the role of NBCS Ahmed Fareed during the reporting before the race in Kentucky Derby.

The NBA will return to NBC for the coming 2025-26 season. At the beginning of the season, Anthony will have been anchored in the Naishith Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class.
