RCB against CSK ticket was: KSCA civil servants examined

The high-voltage-gol 2025 conflict between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Chinnaswamy Stadium M. attracted massive crowds and excitement, but also revealed a darker ray-black cards. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru arrested four people for the sale of Match tickets at excessive prices and triggered a broader examination, which now comprises officials from the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).

CCB NABS Four with dozens of tickets outside the stadium

The police identified the accused as S Charan Raj, H Harshavardhan Sanklecha, K Vinay and B Venkata Sai. They arrested the authorities on Saturday with 32 tickets in hand in front of the stadium. The original ticket price was 1,200 INR, but the defendant tried to sell them at astonishing INR.

“This is not just a case of the touting on the street level. We are investigating how large quantities of tickets have ended up in the hands of people who are not authorized to distribute them” The Hindustan times. The first reports indicate that Venkat Sai has moved into the most mass cards and increases the suspicion of a deeper racket with internal access.

Repetition of crimes throws alarm bells within the IPL ecosystem

This incident marks the second time in the 2025 season that Black ticketing has come under the scanner. About a month ago, the CCB arrested eight people – including the stadium and canteen staff – because they illegally award tickets. In this case, the police recalled 18 tickets in various price categories, including 1,200 INR, 5,000 INR and 13,000 INR, which were resold up to 32,000 INR.

The investigators now believe that the problem is running deeper than isolated incidents and possibly includes a coordinated network within the KSCA. Sources confirmed that several KSCA members can be called for the survey during the examination.

The IPL integrity in the midst of growing black and traditional concerns

The shocking revelations have thrown a shadow about the integrity of the IPL ticketing system. In view of the enthusiasm of fan on an all-time high, especially for marquee matchups such as RCB against CSK, Black-Marketing remains a serious threat to fair access. The law enforcement authorities continue to tighten the noose of those who use the system while the cricket authorities are exposed to the pressure pressure to ensure transparency and accountability.

The examination still unfolds. Both fans and civil servants expect clarity about how deep the roots of this misconduct run. Stricter protocols will follow to prevent further exploitation in future matches.
