Boston Celtic's injury report: 2 starters for game 1 against Knicks improved Monday

The Celtics will be full of strength again on Monday when they open their second round against the New York Knicks. The team published a report on clean injuries on Sunday and solved the way for Jrue Holiday to return from a strenuous thigh injury for game 1.

The vacation initially suffered the injury in game 2 of the first round of the Celtics against magic. He missed the last three games of this 4-1 win in Boston series and has not spoken to reporters since the injury.

However, the veteran guard took part in two Celtics practices this weekend, and his progress in recovery was highlighted by Joe Mazzulla.

“He could work on everything he wanted to work,” said Mazzulla on Saturday. “He gets better every day.”

The return of the vacation will mark peace for almost two weeks so that the Point Guard recovered from the thigh injury.

The removal of Jaylen Brown (bone blood in the knee) from Boston's injury report for game 1 is also remarkable. The all-star striker had been classified as questionable for the last three games of the Celtics Magic First Round series. However, the sporty wing was able to get five full rest days after the Celtics in Orlando quickly worked and made Brown possible to make progress with his recovery.

“For myself, I just try to go back to 100 percent,” said Brown on Saturday. “Jrue physically keeps my floor and still played for our team. Even if boys are equipped – Jrue who missed a game – I was able to take on a role. I feel decent. Now, when you go forward, it is a completely different team, another challenge. My focus is on it.

“In a structural everything is fine,” he continued. “There are a few other things, but I'm in the right direction.”

The Celtics will have a complete squad for the second time this off -season if they organize the Knicks in game 1 at TD Garden on Monday evening. The two rivals emit at 7 p.m.
