Illinois Daycare Car Crash: The driver, a woman, was alone in the jeep and somehow escaped serious injuries.

A day for learning and laughing became a nightmare in Chatham, Illinois, when a woman drove her jeep through a daycare center and the school camp on Monday, killed four children and left a trace of devastation.
Illinois State Police said that the crash was taking place at around 3:20 p.m. (local time) in the YNOT after the school camp south of Springfield.
Without warning, the vehicle tore through the east side of the building, mowed three victims outside and hit another interior before struck through the west wall.
All four victims, which were assumed that they are between 4 and 18 years old, died of their injuries. Six others were injured, at least one of which was flown by helicopter in a critical condition, the authorities said.
“This is a terrible tragedy that our entire community shakes,” said the Chatham Police Department in a statement published on Facebook and advocated prayers for the families involved.
The driver, a woman who was not officially identified, who was seen as a 38-year-old lady from Springfield, was alone in the jeep and escaped a serious injury. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
According to the police, the investigators suspect Dui, but the motive and the cause behind the killing spree remain unclear. Fees are expected after the examination has progressed.
A photo of which it was assumed to show the suspect, which was held from behind when she was custody, was quickly spread online, and a woman in a gray sweatshirt, which was led by official, showed the public Fury.
Drone material and video on site showed a scene of complete chaos: broken walls, twisted furniture, fluttering police adhesive tape and dozens of emergency vehicles that surround an earlier place of security for children.
Governor JB Pritzker said that his administration had “the tragedy” and “posting” closely monitored, “let us wrap our arms for Chatham tonight”.
The Illinois State Police and Chatham Police Department are now combing evidence to understand what led to the terrible crash – one who smashed life and left an entire city in which he was asked how this violence could come so close.
