The toe injury of Darius Garland has reportedly caused cavaliers “significant concern”

The sprain of the left toe, which Cleveland Darius Garland has held out of the last two games, is a “important concern” for the team that enters second round 1 against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

“The team told me that this is an important problem, this injury,” said Jared Greenberg from NBA TV before the game.

“If this were the regular season … Darius Garland would have been closed at least a week to two weeks. This is a great burden for a small and harmful point guard,” continued Greenberg. “The amount of pain that Garland has to do is make it difficult for him to deport himself so that he can achieve any leverage as he usually does on the pitch.”

Greenberg later reported that Garland was confident that he could play in game 2:

Darius Garland was initially listed as a decision for the season and was officially excluded for the semi-final game of the Cavaliers' Eastern Conference against the rising Indiana Pacers.

Garland most recently fit in Cleveland's game 2 victory against Miami Heat, where he scored 21 points on 6-of-14 shooting and exit nine templates. The Cavaliers complete the series in five games.

The Point Guard increased its game in the off -season and achieved an average of 24.0 points after 20.6 per game during the regular season. Head coach Kenny Atkinson spoke to Miamis Kyle Anderson's recent comments, who suggested that the Cavs looked better without Garland and defended the value of his guard for the team.

“You want my honest answer? I don't want to throw anyone on someone or even entertain what was going on between them, but I think they looked like a better team on the floor without a garland,” said Anderson, after the heat was swept. “Now I don't know the numbers or something, but I think it played more to your favor when Garland was not on the floor for her.”

In response, Atkinson said: “I don't know. I don't listen,” said Atkinson. “I think we are better personally with our All-Star Point Guard.”

The Cavaliers hope that their All-Star Wachmann will be again in the line for game 2 of the series while continuing their playoff printing.
