Motorcyclist dies at Eastside Crash

Tucson, Arizona (KGun) – A man is dead after an accident with a motorcycle on the Eastside on Saturday, May 3.

Shortly after 11 a.m., officials from the Operations Division East of the Tucson Police Department and the Tucson fire brigade reacted to a crash on the East Broadway Boulevard and the South Prudence Road, in which a Suzuki motorcycle and a silver GMC site were involved.

The motorcyclist, 22-year-old Brock Christopher Jackson, was declared dead at the crime scene. A passenger in the GMC was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The driver, a 42-year-old woman, was not injured.

Traffic detectives took over the investigation and found that the GMC site on Broadway Boulevard drove east and tried a left turn when it was hit by the motorcycle in a west direction. The investigators say that the motorcycle is on the road at high speed and far above the recorded speed limit of 40 km / h.

The police believe that the GMC driver does not turn left, as well as the excessive speed of the motorcyclist the main factors for the crash.

The examination has not yet been completed and no quotes or fees have been issued.
