Google Clock material 3 expressive redesign licks out [Gallery]

Before the debut of Material 3 Expressures at the I/O 2025 later this month, a redesign of the Google Clock Clock app was created.

According to the screenshots, which were shared by Mystic Leaks (which previously viewed Android 16), the changes begin with the lower bar and a narrower pills -shaped display. Each of the tab symbols was easily optimized with more details, while “Clock” was renamed “World Clock” and it is now “alarms” and “timer”.

The alarm Tab (like the rest of the app) has a large factory, as before, but now it is a rounded square and in the lower right corner. Editing an alarm (or creating a new one) opens a sheet with the time selection above, while you can see the user interface for alarm name, sound, vibrates, weather forecast and Google assistant. A new font is used in the entire app.

The main change in your alarm list is how active people are highlighted the background of your card. In the same way, the “Disease” button is more clear, while the narrower material 3 -one/switching is used.

Imminent

The user interface for creating timer Have some existing steps below and you can set a name immediately. Instead of a “Play” symbol, you get a “start” button. There are some optimizations at the active timer interface, e.g. B. how games/break was moved to the circle.

Old against new ones

Meanwhile the stopwatch Decide on the district motif for only digits. The simplification continues with symbols, which are stopped, reset and replaced by text buttons for stopping, which are much larger than before.

The bedtime Tab is relatively unchanged while we don't look at the world clock. The Clock app is now also said to be “100%” Jetpack Compose or Google's “recommended modern tool kit for building a native user interface”. Remember that this design can change before the start.

Overall, Google Material used 3 expressive redesign as an opportunity to clean up the Clock app and the user interface more intuitive, if not obvious.
