Gene Simmons on the one genre, of which he hopes to see the “death of”

Gene Simmons loves Rock'n'roll and he really wants you to know. This is anything but new information because he has reminded his fans and everyone who is ready to hear the fact throughout his career. If you have ever had any doubts, maybe a few listeners will kiss that contains songs like “Rock and Roll All Nite”, and your cover of Argents “God gave rock 'n' roll to you II ', help them to refresh their memory or to convince them of their dedication to the genre.

Of course, that's not a bad thing. I myself am an advocate of rock'n'roll – I would be pretty lost in this profession if I wasn't. Admittedly, I have never written a song about how much I love rock'n'roll, so I may not be as committed to the matter like Mr. Simmons, but I don't think there are many people in the world that fits the demon with the demon when it comes to showing enthusiasm for the genre.

A lover of rock'n'roll does not have to be a monogamous relationship, and most people who indulge in this music style for other genres have to be decided. It is completely acceptable to be promiscially in their hearing habits, no, encouraged by many and wings from one genre to another, will only expand their horizons and help them to discover things about other cultural strands that they would not be exposed to if they were decided to remain in their flavor regulations.

For example, there are many things that a rock'n'roll lover in rap and hip-hop can appreciate. Both genres were born from a place of the rebellion against Mainstream trends and mainly retained this ethos despite the well -being, and for everyone who is a lover of poetry, so much rap music is based on creative pun, cutting social comment and poetry in their non -filtered form.

The problem is that genes Simmons is not meaningful, and no conviction will vibrate his passionate resistance to hip-hop. Simmons has always had a vitriolic hatred of the genre and has publicly explained his displeasure to all music that bears a remote similarity.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Simmons said: “I am looking forward to the death of rap. I look forward to that music comes back on texts and melody instead of just talking.” Now, as we have already established, rap and poetry go hand in hand, so that its objection is a controversial point on this front. Melody is often lost in rap music, but there are so many other elements of strong musicality that replace the need for a melody, to be far more important with rhythm and composition.

“These are novelty records,” continued Simmons. “I don't have the cultural background to be a gangster.” He may have grown up in a different cultural environment than the artists who produce most of the rap, but on the other hand, Wilshire is not known for his up -and -coming rap scene and I still managed to buy a taste for it. If you refer to it as a novelty, this is rich of a man who voluntarily wears facial color as part of his demonic stage personality.
