Golden State in command with game 4 victory

play

The Golden State Warriors are not a typical No. 7 seeds. Not with Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler on the square and Steve Kerr Coaching.

The Warriors took over a 3-1 series with a 109: 106 victory in game 4 of the first round playoffs on Monday with a 109:10 victory.

Butler achieved three free throws with 58.7 seconds, which gave the Golden State a lead of 107-104, and after Alpersen Sengun interrupted the lead to 107-106 with a driving layup, butler and Steph Curry missed shots.

Houston called Timeout with 13.1 seconds on the left and ran a piece that ended with a missed shot from Sengun with Green Defending. Butler collected the rebound, was fouled and made both of which the warriors were put in the lead 109-106. Fred Vanvleet missed a potential 3 pointer to end the game.

The Warriors received a great offensive performance by Brandin Podziemski, who scored 26 points in the playoff career, and Butler contributed 27 points, six templates and five rebounds after playing game 3 with a left pelvic and deep gluteal muscle account. Butler was 12-for-12 for free throws.

Buddy Hield (15 points) and fifth post (13 points) helped the Warriors to overcome 2: 8 3 points shooting from Curry (17 points).

The No. 7 seed has overthrown the No. 2 seeds six times in the NBA playoffs and only twice since the first round switched from Best-of-Sven-Sieben from Best-of-Five in 2003. It happened in 2023 when the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies and continued the Dallas Mavericks in 2010.

The Rockets shot better than the warriors from the field (49.4% to 41.9%) and 3 points (47.8% to 37%), but Golden State made six another 3S, and the Rockets only shot 61.3% with 31 free throwing attempts.

Sengun scored 31 points and had 10 rebounds and five templates for the Rockets. Vanvleet had 25 points and teammate Amen Thompson added 17 points and nine rebounds.

Record the highlights from game 4 between the Rockets and Warriors:

The Warriors opened the third quarter with an 18: 1 run, took the lead with 68: 58 and went into the fourth quarter 82: 80 and have 12 minutes from a 3-1 series against the Rockets.

Brandin Podziemski von Golden State had eight of his team height in the third quarter, and Steph Curry has 14 points for the Warriors, but he is only 1: 5 to 3 points. Quentin Post of the Golden State has 13 points from the bank and Buddy Hield Hield. Jimmy Butler, who missed game 3 with an injury, has 13 points, five templates and three rebounds.

Alperen Sengun scored 21 points and Fred Vanvleet 19 for the rockets, which are only 17- against 29 in free throws. The Warriors are 15-opposite-16 from the free-wing line, but have made four other 3 points as Houston.

The second quarter was affected by reviews by two small arguments that led to an obvious foul for Draymond Green and Technical Fouls by Golden State for Green and Warriors star Steph Curry and Houston's Dillon Brooks and Tari Eason.

In a physical and chipped game with combustible players, the Rockets recovered in the first quarter of a slow start and a 12-point deficit to lead around 57: 50.

Each team has three players in double figures in points. Houston's Fred Vanvleet has a team high of 12 points, followed by Brooks (11 points, five rebounds) and Alperen Senengun (10 points, six rebounds).

Brandin Podziemski from Golden State has 13 points, Quentin Post has 12 and Curry has 10. Green and Jimmy Butler were goalless for Golden State in the second quarter, which rubs 38.1% from the field and 36% to 3S. Houston made 54.1% of his shots, including 7-against-11 to 3S.

The Rockets have a 24-8 lead in points in color and have made nine Warriors sales in 17 points.

Draymond Green from Golden State received an open foul and avoided his second technical foul 2: 44 in the second quarter and the rockets with 47: 46. Houston's Tari Eason struck Green's ball and when Eason tried to collect the loose ball, Green liked him. Both players fell on the square and there was a short argument. After another review, Green's foul was upgraded to the open foul and Eason was given a technical foul for his actions after the foul. If Green had been given his second technical foul, he would have been ejected.

Houston's Dillon Brooks and Golden State's Draymond Green and Steph Curry each received technical fouls after Brooks Curry fouled 36 at 7:00 a.m. in the second quarter. After the foul, Curry kept two fingers to designate Brooks' second foul. Brooks – not surprisingly – rejected Curry's mockery and tried to wipe the ball from Curry, which was not satisfied with it. Green was also not a green one that was in Brook's face. After a video check, the referees emphasized the technical fouls.

Jimmy Butler returned to the starting line-up in game 4 after giving game 3 with a left-wing pelvic and deep buttock muscle contusion, and had four points, two rebounds and a block in the first quarter, which helped the Warriors in a 28:26 lead.

Brandin Podziemski led the Golden State with 10 points, and Draymond Green added six points and three rebounds. Golden State only shot 34.6% from the field and 26.7% in the opening quarter to 3S.

Amen Thompson has eight points for the rockets, which have a strong closed quarter and shoot 52.6% from the field.
