Deadly TN aircraft crash renewed safety concerns regarding flying

Sparta, tenn. (WSMV) – A federal investigation continues on Saturday to the plane crash, in which three people were killed in White County.

The Sheriff's office in White County says that an aircraft tried to land Regional Airport at the Upper Cumberland when it fell abruptly.

“(We) don't know why it crashed, we have no idea. We will probably be reported later,” said Sheriff Steve Paige.

Flight data shows that Alabaster, Alabama's aircraft, comes.

Officials identified the victims as Johnathan Braun, the pilot, and the passengers Dylan and Kelsie Davis.

For those in the region who experienced the consequences of a crash, it has renewed security concerns regarding the aircraft.

“It is only scary to live at the airport and know that planes are not doing so well,” said Taylor Potet, in Sparta, in Sparta.

Both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board examine the cause of the crash.

The wreck was officially removed on Monday. In addition, officials say that the agencies are involved in interviewing witnesses and creating data.

Airport officials say that they operate hundreds of operations every day, and this is the first fatal crash since the decade.

In the course of the examination, those affected linger in the community for many.

“You think you're just going somewhere and are in this situation. I feel terrible for your families because you know that it is difficult,” said Potet.

In the coming days, the NTSB is expected to release its provisional knowledge.
