The former Tennessee -Pitcher Garrett Crochet wiped a fighted ball on the hill on Sunday afternoon. It was not a square contact, but Crochet still stayed on the hill, while others may have given in to the shelter.

The incident came in a 2-1 place on the top of the fourth inner, with the Red Sox led the twins 3-1. Crochet delivered a sink with empty bases, which was shot back into the middle by Minnesota Shortstop Carlos Correa. The ball made contact with Crochet's nose when his head turned, and then to the second Baseman, who made the game from the shortstop page of the second base bag.

Crochet ended the fourth inning, threw a no-hit inn with two walks in the fifth and was then relieved by Garrett Whitlock.

Crochet ended his working day with four goals and a deserved run in five innings on the hill, but the twins were able to find four runs late in the game to win the 5: 4 victory.

More from RTI: Tennessee Baseball Ace Liam Doyle, which was ejected

In his first season with the Red Sox here in 2025, Crochet released a career best 2.02-e-for eight starts. The former VOL also pays a ratio of 2.8 K/BB and has only approved 11 deserved runs in 49 innerings of work.

Crochet played his first four seasons with the Chicago White Sox before signing the last offseason of the Red Sox.

The Mississippi native was moved out of the University of Tennessee with the 11th total decision in the 2020 MLB design.
