Family remembers deputy hit, killed in the event of an accident

Cincinnati (Wxix) – The sister of the HCSO MP, who was killed on Friday, now spoke to Fox19 about her brother and his legacy.

The deputy Larry Henderson was killed on Friday afternoon when he worked a security detail at the UC degree.

Prosecutors say that he was deliberately killed by Rodney Hinton, a day after Rodney's son was killed by the Cincinnati police.

The sister of the deputy Henderson, Jeanne Stockton, spoke to me about his love for the community.

“My brother Larry Henderson was through and through a warrior,” she says. “His integrity, his love, his care, never say never, dies hard, I got your back mentality.”

According to Stockton, the deputy Henderson retired last December and only worked the detail because they needed additional security. And because he loved UC.

A growing monument was set up via the campus, on which the crash on Martin Luther King Drive and the Burnet Woods Drive took place.

Hamilton County Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey said today in an explanation that the deputy Henderson worked in several specialized units at Hamilton County in his 33 years.

She said he had a talent for teaching and presenting and became an excellent trainer.

“It formed departments of the Sheriff office of the Hamilton County, which belonged to the hundreds of deputy sheriffs,” wrote Sheriff Govey. “His ability to relate to the life of the officers and touch the life of the officers was exceptional. We will continue to honor Larry's service of the service.”

Sheriff McGuffey announced that the badge of Deputy Henderson, number 129, will be retired.

His sister says that this is a nice way to remember him in the community in which he puts his life on the game for every day.

“He is immortalized as one of the greatest men who has ever left, and we will miss him forever and love him because his spirit is immense and he will never be forgotten,” says Stockton.

Governor Dewine ordered in honor of Deputy Henderson on the day of his funeral to be reduced on the halves of the staff of the half of the deputy Henderson.

The HAMALTON County County's office says that details on the funeral of the deputy Henderson will be announced in the near future.
