According to the authorities, an 18-year-old Homewood Fossmoor High School-Senior died early Sunday in Calumet City.

The accident with a vehicle occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. at Sibley Boulevard Ramp to Interstate 94 to the north, the State Police of Illinois said.

One person was taken to a regional hospital where they later died.
