The police report in Peoria so far in 2005 decline in violent crime

Peoria (now 25news) – The year is not half over, but the police from Peoria points to monthly data, which have so far shown fewer shootings and shooting victims in 2025.

The latest figures come because the law enforcement agencies in the city continue to carry out strategies for fighting crime, including the storage of weapons from the street and the establishment of trust between the police and the public.

In the first four months of this year there were 14 shootings in Peoria, compared to 20 at that time in 2024, a decrease of 30%, the police said.
