Boston Celtics gets the JRUE vacation from injuries to take on an important role

While the Celtics suffered injury problems in the first round against magic, they are ready to kick against the kinks. The C -von C did not report any problems in the injury report before game 1 of the second round, which were created on Monday at 7 p.m. in the TD Garden.

In particular, this means that Jrue Holiday will return to the court. He dealt with a right thigh pollution that held him out of the last three games of the first round. C-coach from C, Joe Mazzulla, said on Saturday that the vacation would be better every day, and that seems to be good enough to adapt to the start of the second round.

While the Celtics defeated magic in five games without a vacation, the guard will be a key factor in the New York series. In three games of the regular season against the Knicks, he scored an average of 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

“He is a great guy,” said Derrick White. “Someone to whom they look up. He just does it right. He does not want the praise or recognition, but definitely one of the best people in this game. Obviously he is a great player, but the person he is is incredible.”

Of course, the influence of vacation is also measured at the defensive end, and there he makes the Celtics completely. His ability to protect Bigs in this matchup gives the defending champs the versatility. The vacation was successful to guard Knicks Big Karl-Anthony Towns during the regular season, even though he is a guard. It will be interesting to monitor whether the Celtics return to it throughout the entire series. This is just another area in which the Celtics can throw another fold on the kinks to keep them out of balance.

Jaylen Brown is also not in the injury report when he dealt with a bone bloody casting in his right knee. He played against magic in every game of the first round, but was classified as questionable before the last three games. Brown offered an optimistic update of his injury when he was asked on Saturday after how he approaches full strength.

“For myself, I just try to trend towards 100%,” said Brown. “I keep my ground physically and still play for our team. Even when people are on the road – Jrue, (Jayson Tatum) missed a game – was able to play a game and play a role. I feel decent. Now to go forward, it is a completely different ball game, different teams. My focus is on it.”

These are all positive developments for the Celtics because they are in full strength on Monday. Jayson Tatum is also not listed in the injury report because he had not excluded the Magic series with the bone blue in his right wrist.
