The former WWE star reveals that they dealt with injuries at the time of publication

The former NXT Talent Riley Osborne announced that he was injured at the time of his release by WWE this weekend.

Osborne, formerly part of the Chase -U Group, had not performed in the NXT TV since the group was separated in November. He recently reappeared in the revised Evolve program from WWE, but these games were recorded before his injury.

In a social media contribution after the publication, Osborne shared a sarcastic thumb high selfie with the caption:

“I can't wait to get medically free at work … Oh”.

Later he added this comment on fans who asked after television why he was on TV when he was injured:

“March 7th I was operated on, since … suggestions are a magical thing.”

It was reported that Osborne was suffered and operated on two months ago. At the time of his release, he was not clear.

Osborne belonged to 17 WWE talents who were published last weekend together with one whose contract was not renewed. The cuts included both the main leader and the NXT.

The situation and the possible future of the wrestling in Osborne discussions are taken into account, said Dave Meltzer Wrestling Observer Radio:

“There was only political, that is not the right word-only there were certain things that happened to him, and it led to you took him out of television. [in WWE]. “”

Who published WWE on May 2, 2025?

On May 2, 2025, WWE released 17 leading actors and NXT stars, including Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai and Shayna Baszler. Most of the publications came from NXT, with a handful of publications also came from the main list. It is currently not known what one of the released stars will do in the future, but it is to be expected that some of them will likely try to pursue opportunities such as AEW or TNA.
