Shaq caused a change in the NBA rule with unstoppable dominance exhibition that destroyed the equipment

Shaquille O'Neal was one of the most dominant basketball players ever.

The four-time NBA champion wrote a legendary 19-year-old career and with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics Randrasseling magic sayings.

His jersey was retired by half of these teams – in Orlando, Miami and La.

This is hardly surprised to consider that he was a 15-time all-star, who was also appointed the most valuable player in the NBA in 2000, in addition to his three NBA final MVP prices.

And long before he increased his first title, Shaq entered the league in a fanfare when he was taken over as the first overall selection of the 1992 design.

He quickly became the best centers in the NBA and won the Rookie of the Year Prize in his debut season.

But while Shaq delighted the fans with his appearance on the square, thanks to his habit of breaking backboards, he had a little headache for the league control makers.

Regardless of whether he posturized opponents in his earlier days or dominated the league with Kobe Bryant on the Lakers, O'Neal never showed a grace to the edge.

There are many film materials from the years in which the 7-foot 1 star in the gym smashes the glass or shakes the basket while playing college tires.

Even before his rookie -NBA season, Shaq was destroyed as a virus material.

And the support systems that held the back board were not safe.

A waste against the Phoenix Suns in 1993 was somehow emptied by the hydraulic system, which held up the back board, and led to it folding and deeper.

Later in the year against the New Jersey Nets, Shaq pulled the entire back board down with a slam and was almost caught by the falling shooting clock.

With a beast like him in the league, the NBA had to sail its rims Shaq.

“This year we had a new thing with (backboards), both of them down and were broken,” said Rod Thorn, the Executive Vice President of the Basketball Operations of the League, the Orlando Sentinel 1993.

'' We will make sure that the entire equipment corresponds to snuff tobacco.

“Whether it was Shaquille O'Neal or someone else, with the size of these boys, it was only a matter of time.

“He was just a little bigger and stronger than most others.”

Soon after Thorn's comments, the NBA changed its rules to avoid further “Shaq-Ccidents”.

The league initially made the materials of the backboards and made them more permanent by switching to spirited glass and stronger braces.

They also changed a rule that required backup baskets with every game, only in case that Shaq or another player would tear them down.

According to the SB Nation, the NBA also assumed a rule that punishes the players to deliberately break them against the back board.

As a rule, it says: “Every player whose contact with the basket or backboard breaks the backboard or does not play the ring is punished with a non -singing -manic behavior of technical foul.”

Shaq is not the only basketball legend that has determined certain regulations over the years, with Michael Jordan also violating the 51% NBA rule in his early days.

And while O'Neal smashed many backboards over the years, he actually used them well.

Instead of eradding the rims, he decided to create a massive tree that looks small even the seven drivers.

He calls it “The Broken Rim Tree” and in 2017 shared a photo of the massive structure.

It certainly serves as a unique appointment for its backboard shaken NBA days.
