In a season that started with high hopes for Minnesota's top prospects, injuries have unfortunately alleviated the excitement. It has become an unfortunate transition rite for the top prospects of the twins to have their professional career through injuries, including Royce Lewis, Byron Buxton and Alex Kirilloff. The list seems endless. In 2025 Twins Daily's four prospects were injured. While each injury has its own timeline and uncertainty, the twins remain optimistic in the long term, what effects these players can have healthy.

Walker Jenkins, from
Injury: left -ankle expression

Jenkins opened the camp and quickly suffered a bricked -up ankle, which slowed down his preparation, which gave him a significant part of the Grapefruit campaign. Despite the early setback, Jenkins returned to Double-A Wichita in good time for the start of the season and was activated on the squad to feel new stiffness after two games and eight record appearances. The discomfort forced the 20-year-old outfield again on April 9 onto the injured list, where he received a cortisone injection in order to accelerate healing and reduce inflammation.

Since then, a TWINS spokesman has stated that Jenkins will probably stay outside until May, a frustrating turn for a player who joined 2025 as one of the top 10 of the baseball. With its mixture of power, speed and advanced feeling on the plate, the twins are in a hurry not to push back Jenkins prematurely, and prefers a full yield that preserves its long -term development.
Expected return: early to medium June

Emmanuel Rodríguez von
Injury: thumb load on the left

Rodríguez has been a ray of hope in the farm system charts with the second highest viewpoint of the team and the ranking of No. 34 in the MLB pipeline since his debut 2023. However, the durability has expressed concerns: Rodríguez tore a band in its right thumb, which led to an operation, and then saw his campaign from 2024 limited to only 47 games due to persistent pain.

Although his spring-knuckle tweak proved to be slightly and initially did not affect his triple workload, Rodríguez suffered a left thumb load in the second basis on April 23. Fortunately, it was not the same thumb where he was operated on last year. The twins have listed it as daily, with an optimistic timeline return to an early to medium. In view of its thumb history, the organization carefully monitors its rehab to avoid repeating the setbacks of last year.
Expected return: Rodriguez returned to play over the weekend

Luke Keschall when
Injury: right forearm fracture

The 22-year-old infield Luke Keschall illuminated the majors with an electrifying debut and set up in his first seven games, including three doubles and five stolen bases, .368/.538/.526 (1.065). Keschall was drawn in in the second round of 2023 and, as a catalyst for what many hoped, occurred to revive the twins' crime. This dynamic abruptly came to a standstill on April 25th when a Kyle Hendrick's Fastball Keschall's right forearm met, which led to a non -determined fracture.

The injury is particularly worrying because it affects the same arm that underwent Tommy John's operation last August and extends the expected recovery phase to at least two months. Minnesota put Keschall on the 10-day injury list, but he is a candidate for the 60-day IL if the twins need a squad. Minnesota hopes that Keschall can get healthy in the second half and return to the line -up in order to offer the team a new spark.
Expected return: in early July

Charlee Soto, RHP
Injury: Painfulness of the right triceps

Soto, the 19-year-old right-handed pitcher, started the season with a number of dominant starts for Cedar Rapids. In his first 13 innings, he only allowed two deserved runs and improved his strike rate by almost two percentage points in the end of 2024 and lowered his walk by 2.5%.

Trizeps pain in his right arm prompted the organization to close it and bring him to the seven -day list of calm and recovery. Its timeline remains the most liquid of this quartet because the twins have to see how his body reacts from time from time. When he returns, the developmental staff of the twins carefully manage its inner rings throughout the rest of 2025.
Expected return: tbd

Injuries are an undesirable challenge. If Minnesota navigates the ebb and the flow of its potential development, it will be crucial to keep Jenkins, Rodríguez, Kechall and Soto on the right track (albeit for individual schedules) to ensure that the potential of the farm system leads to the success of the main league. As soon as these keys are back on the field, the future prospects of the twins will illuminate considerably.
