Microsoft is preparing to start more than just a new 13-inch surface laptop. We speak of a new 12-inch surface professional that Winfuturee leaked a few days ago. It is a compact, affordable 2-in-1 tablet with a fresh design and better specifications.

The 12-inch trial-pro-Pro-Pro-Pro-Pro-body has a rounded design, smooth curves and a thin metal body with only 7.8 mm thick. It holds the familiar, adjustable kick stand with up to 165 degrees inclination and makes it just as flexible to type, sketch or observe content.

Microsoft also adds a splash personality. The device will be available in platinum, ocean (blue) and purple, whereby the suitable keyboards of the surface are sold separately.

12-inch pixels-sensitive flow indicator

At the front, the leaked surface professional has a 12-inch LCD screen, which is referred to as a Pixelsense flow panel. It will most likely support a refrese rate of 120 Hz. The display also supports both the surface pen and the slim pen and makes it a solid choice for creative and students.

Snapdragon X Plus leads Surface Pro 12

Inside, the Surface Pro 12-inch runs on the Snapdragon X Plus from Qualcomm (X1P-42-100), an eight-kernel chip at speeds of up to 3.4 GHz, paired with an NPU for AI tasks.

Microsoft urges AI improved Windows experiences with this 2-in-1 tablet. You can choose between 8 GB or 16 GB RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of fast UFS memory.

All USB-C, no charger included

There are two USB-C connections (USB 3.2). Unfortunately there is no headphone socket, and Microsoft has confirmed that no power adapter is included in the box.

The Surface Pro 12 is equipped with USB-C for charging and you need a 27-W or a higher USB PD charger to stick to strength. The battery life is evaluated with up to 16 hours of local video playback – more than enough for a whole day full of work or game.
