Three people killed after little boat boat in front of San Diego Coast | San Diego

Three people were killed, four were injured and nine more missed after a small boat was lifted in high surfing off the coast of San Diego, California early Monday.

Ships and helicopters at the US coast guard searched for the missing person while the four injuries were sent to hospitals, the authorities said. Officials from the coast guard said they did not know where the 12-foot boat (3.7 meters) came from before turning.

Hikers and others in Torrey Pines State Beach reported that at 6.30 a.m. a boat near the shore Kentern saw, LT Nick Backouris said the Saniff department of the San Diego.

“A doctor who hiked nearby called in and said:” I see people who do CPR on the beach, I run that way, “said Backouris.

Pangas are open boats that were developed for fishing but are usually used by smugglers.

Eight people were killed in 2023 when two migrant smuggling boats in the middle of heavy fog approached a beach in San Diego. A boat cake in the surf and marked one of the deadliest human smuggling operations of all time in the United States.
