Demeco Ryans from Houston Texans reveals a large update for the key defender

During the 2024-25 season, Houston Texans Texans in Houston, Jimmie Ward, was derived from his campaign due to an injury, limited to just 10 starts in the 17-game route and missed his couple of regular season and two night season matchups that were completed last year due to one foot.

All in all, a tough result for the 33-year-old veteran in the back of the Texan defense last season. According to a current update by head coach Demeco Ryans, Ward seems to improve his health before the 2025 season.

“Demeco Ryans says that it was fine and is not out of his trunk,” said Bien-Aime. “Says Jimmie can help the Texans win football games. Called him a great football player. Jimmie Ward's season ended in week 16 of the 2024 season because of a foot injury.”

Ward has been appropriate for the Texans in 20 games since he came on board in the Offseason 2023 in 2023, defended a total of 98 tackles, seven passes and forced four sales during his term. Both seasons in the mix were a little limited due to injuries, but the signs of his status for the third year show in a positive direction.

For the next season, Ward is in a reinforced security group, which is led by Calen Bullock and the new Offseason Addition CJ Gardner-Johnson, which, thanks to the trade earlier this post-season, came with the Philadelphia Eagles on board the Texan roster and sent the former render Kenyon Green in exchange.

Last year, the secondary level of the Texans remained one of the stronger units in the league, and the recovery of veteran safety in the possibly only the view of this group. Ward seems to be in a good place in terms of his recovery, and if so, it could mean great things for the back of this defense in Houston in 2025.
