Grand Prairie, Texas – – The Grand Prairie Police Department examines a crash in which two people were killed and two more injured on Sunday evening.

What we know:

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. on SE 8TH Street and the Teal Drive

According to the police, the driver of a Ford pick -up in SE 8TH Street drove south when the pick -up led the street and fell against a trea near Teal Drive.

The driver and front passenger of the pickup died at the scene.

Two other passengers in the collection were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The police say that speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.

What we don't know:

The names of the victims were not published. Dallas County's medical examiner will publish the names as soon as the next relatives are notified.
