Police – NBC 6 Südflorida

New video shows the moment when a former member of Florida was arrested because he allegedly robbed a bank at the weekend.

The Ocala police said they answered the robbery around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and learned that the suspect had fled over $ 5,000.

The female suspect had handed over a note to a cashier who said that it was a robbery and she was armed with a weapon, the police said.

Within 11 minutes, the officers found the suspect, who was identified as Christina Gates Thagard and drove in the area.

The dashcam video published by the police department showed that officials stopped Thagard and ordered them out of the car with their hands.

“What's up!” Thagard can be heard how she is taken into custody.

The police said that Thagard was asked by investigators and evidence that they had bound to the robbery was found in their car, including the stolen money, clothing, medical glove and other items.

Their participation was also confirmed by surveillance material and witness descriptions, the police said.

Thagard was booked to prison with a firearm due to robbery.

Thagard had previously worked as a deputy for Marion County's office, but at the time of the robbery, the Department of the NBC subsidiary Wesh confirmed.
