FBI rides on internal leak hunts with polygraphs

The director of the National Secret Service, Tulsi Gabbard, recently confirmed criminal transfers for several leaks and promised cooperation with the Ministry of Justice to identify and pursue those responsible.

Former officials compared the atmosphere with authoritarian regimens and warned that the oppression of internal criticism could endanger national decision -making.

Polygraphs are controversial; Experts find that they have not recognized the truth and have led to false positive results in the past.
