2 Lakeland men who were killed when the vehicle was killed: Police

A fatal vehicle accident is examined in Lakeland.

The background story:

According to the Lakeland police authority, the 71 -year -old Willie Williams from Lakeland drove a Toyota Camry from 2012 shortly before 12:10 p.m.. The police stated that he had launched the parking lot of the home depot on the 2800 US Highway 98 North and tried to make a left curve.

At the same time, the 67 -year -old Craig Jensen from Lakeland traveled north in a Porsche 911 in the inner lane of the US Highway 98 North.

The police said that Williams entered the road western direction, and the front left bumper of his car hit the front right bumper of the Porsche.

The patrol units of the Lakeland Police Department, the fire brigade of Polk County, and the fire brigade of Lakeland came to start life -saving measures.

Both drivers were brought to Lakeland Regional Health to treat their injuries.
