Man who was charged with the death of the 22-year-old Denise Lissette Ramos for capital murder

Fairfield, Texas (KWTX) – Last year, the former Marine -Seemann Julian Jefferson was charged with the death of Denise Lissette Ramos because of the death, who was found dead by the Fairfield police in March 2024.

Jefferson was charged with the death of the 22-year-old in May 2024 after waiting for almost a year in the federal prison.

Since her loss of Lissette, her father Luis Ramos has said that her family had done her best to get ahead.

“It was over a year ago, it is … you know, especially the first holidays and birthdays, it is still difficult for me and my family,” he said.

Ramos has been fighting for her righteousness for over a year, and now he says that Jefferson has finally been charged and will soon be brought back to Freestone County because of his indictment.

“On Thursday they went to court to go to the judge to sign the delivery order,” he said, “at the end of this month he will be faced with before his first date of court.”

But when Ramos and his family fight for Lissette, they also help to get justice to the other women who have reported on Jefferson.

“In my understanding, there could be about five or more, maybe showing that they tell their terrible stories about what this person had done,” he said.

According to Ramos, Jefferson had already been accused of 2022 and 2023

“In the military, your command receives access to all this information … The accusations of what you did,” he said, “so you had all this information at hand and the Navy allowed him to continue traveling back and forth from California.”

That is why Ramos says that they are also submitting an illegal complaint against the US Navy.

“We try to understand her that my daughter's death … was 100%, it was more avoidable,” he said, “you knew that this person was dangerous”.

But while they still have a long fight in front of them, Ramos says that he is glad that things are at least progressing.

“We plan to be on every court, no matter how big or how small, we plan to be there to show our support for our daughter and know that she has a voice,” he said.

After Ramos, after the return of Jefferson, he has to assign a lawyer and enter a plea to explain that it could take a year before he actually puts on trial.

KWTX has contacted the Texas General Prosecutor's Office, which deals with law enforcement in order to obtain further information, but not yet hear.
