Drivers affected to the hospital with life -threatening injuries after the crash of East Las Vegas

Las Vegas, nev. (FOX5) – A man who is accused of having driven under the influence was admitted to the hospital with life -threatening injuries, the Las Vegas police said.

The 24-year-old Diego Herrera-Herrera drove to the east early Monday morning in the early Monday morning. At the intersection with McLeod Drive, at least two cars were stopped on a red light.

Metro's police said Herrera-Herrera did not reduce the speed and hit a Nissan, who then met a Mazda. The police say that both vehicles were pushed into the intersection.

The medical crews transported several people who were involved in the crash to the Sunrise Hospital in order to maintain advanced medical care. The driver and the passenger of the Nissan, who was identified as two women from Las Vegas, suffered “significant” injuries due to the crash.

The Mazda driver, a 35-year-old woman, demanded “minor” injuries.

Herrera-Herrera showed signs of impairment and has life-threatening injuries. He was included in the intensive care unit of the Sunrise Hospital.

“This collision is examined according to the collision determination department of the LAS Vegas Metropolitan Police Department,” said the police.
