Mrs. shot, killed in alleged home vasion while visiting friends, says the police, the police say

Columbia, SC (WIS/Gray News) – According to the authorities, a woman in South Carolina was shot during a suspected home vasion.

The Columbia police said on Monday that the body of 22-year-old Logan Federico from Waxhaw, North Carolina, was found in a house on Cypress Street early Saturday.

Officials said she was in Columbia at the time of her death to visit friends. The 22-year-old died of a firing wound on her chest.

An autopsy ruled her death as a murder.

The alleged shooter was identified as a 30-year-old Alexander Dickey.

Dickey supposedly broke into a home federico and shot her before she fled in front of the scene.

“Logan was a helpless victim, she was not an intended goal,” said Holbrook.

The sheriff of Lexington County, Jay Koon, said that Dickey had gone a stroll through several days, using the money he stole from houses into which he had broken out.

Dickey was arrested after breaking into a house in Gaston after he supposedly set it on fire.

After his arrest, he was instructed to the Detention Center of the Lexington County and was denied.

He stands in front of a murder and other charges associated with crimes in other areas of the Midlands.

It is not immediately clear when he will appear in court in Richland County to face his murder accusation in connection with Federico's death.
